Pure white fine porcelain lamp hand-thrown super thin then hand carved for maximum glowing translucence. Completely unique and one-of-a-kind, this luminous solace may have cousins but never a twin. Each stage of creating this creamy, candescent sculpture is an exercise is presence and intention. Breathing slows with each pull of the clay, thinning the walls and shaping the delicate form. Smooth strokes of even pressure carve intentional designs for a stunning illuminated experience.

Blazing flame and magical alchemy react to create a truly one of a kind piece. Firing ceramics in a pit or open flame is the oldest method of firing pottery and dates back to at least 29,000 BCE. This is an ancient technique that connects us back to the elements of the earth in its most raw and elemental form. The pots are buried in a pit in the ground, covered with combustible materials, and set ablaze to harden the clay, creating unique, unglazed pieces. No two will ever be the same much as is the case in nature.
This one-of-a-kind piece has been hand-thrown, carefully turned, fired in a kiln, raw elements applied to surface, and fired in a pit of flames.
